Failed To Load Steamui.dylib Fix For Mac
I'm using a Mac and when I try to use the twitch app to download a modpack, it says 'could not load plugins' in the Mods tab. I've tried reinstalling java, the twitch app and restarted my computer multiple times but it still says the same thing. No-one else seems to have had this issue so I can't even see what needs fixing.

I've tried following the instructions in, which seem to be echoed around the internet, but to no avail. Any additional advice?UPDATE:Here's the code when I run steam in terminal.
Did you try just using steam://flushconfig in Safari? If nothing else you could try fully removing Steam using something like. Note that doing so will delete any game saves which don't support Steam Cloud and your downloaded games (unless you back them up: Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata - most game saves; and Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps - the games; if there's any game saves you're particularly worried about look them up on to find the save data location and you can grab a backup of that). If you've set a custom Steam Library folder and have anything installed there you'll probably need to grab the steamapps folder from there too.
You can just copy these steamapps folders but it will take a while as they are where the installed games are stored & they're going to be deleted with Steam anyways (anything in a custom Library folder may not be, not personally tried) so it's easiest to just move them.Once you have Steam installed again (and it's closed - never play with internal files while it's open!), and you've setup your custom Steam Library folder if you want to use one, copy ( not move - keep a backup) the folders from your userdata backup to the new install, but not: ugcmsgcache, config, or ugc folders. Only say this because I'm not entirely sure what's in them, although ugc seems to be related to Steam Workshop subscriptions, and the config folder has a file for serverbrowserui (favorited/recent/etc servers you've played on), so it's up to you if you want to try restoring it - if Steam has a problem it should just download a fresh copy of the file, though this will likely destroy whatever data you have there. Because this stuff is in the userdata folder it is probably synched with the Steam cloud, but there's no 100% guarantee. Also copy or move the folders from within your backup of the steamapps folders sub-folder called common over to the new installations steamapps/common folder. In this case copy will also take more time, and of course disk space, but some users have had issues with the next part where they lose game installation data (not save data) for some reason. I suggested an experimental fix for this to at least one person a while back but they didn't respond and neither has anyone else.A) Finally, open Steam and then go and highlight all those games that you've moved. You can click one, and then hold shift while clicking another game to select both you click on and everything between them; or hold CTRL while clicking to select singles.but this is considered a right click by Mac so it tries to open the context menu (though it does still select the item.), so it's really annoying.
It should be CMD + click, and I thought it was - maybe Valve broke it somehow and reverted to Ctrl - but it wouldn't even be the first time in the last hour that I've been wrong today. With the game(s) selected press 'Install'; Steam will popup a little Install dialog where all of the selected games have a checkbox next to them (in case you want to change your mind about any but still continue with the bulk), so you could easily just pick everything and narrow it down once you get to this page.
Pick a Steam Library folder, if you want to install them to a custom location, and then Next, Agree to EULA's that may popup. At this point Steam should startup a download but quickly change to 'Discovering existing files' (this is the part where some people lose game install data). If it fails and decides to start a fresh download you can always skip that game for now and either look back in my comment history for the experimental trick or let me know and I will (can't remember what it was ATM).B) Alternatively you could move the appmanifest#.acf files from steamapps into the new location (but not libraryfolders.vdf - that defines your custom Steam Library folders and may overwrite any changes you've made/cause problems), and then Steam will believe the games are installed as soon as you start it up. Some games won't like this, but many won't care; if any have an issue try verifying the game cache, preferably twice (especially L4D2/CSGO/anything else using the Source Engine) this may have been that trick I was gonna look up, lol. You can also try to mix-and-match this with the above method, but again neither is guaranteed and you may need to reinstall some game(s) again.Definitely not the best process, plenty slow and boring, but far faster than downloading everything again.
I’m going to have agree with most here and say Saturn is the best. Plug ins effects tdm.
Split from the 'ST3 Official Info' threadGreetings fellow grafters.I have got ST3 workinng nicely on my main machine. My problem is with my laptop. I have installed and authorised it on the Lappy and directed it to my sample drive.the location is set and recognised in ST3. However it will only load my Imported Libraries.Miros Tron Etc. The actual ST3 Library instruments all give me an 'Error Failed to Load Instrument' message.I am wondering if this could have anything to do with the way I have gone about it.On my main machine, everything works perfectly.
ST3's Main Folder was originally installed to my C Drive. However I needed to transfer this folder to my Sample Drive and did so at supports suggestion.I set the Main Folder location directed to this new drive and everything was fine.So when setting up my laptop, I simply copied this folder to the laptops external drive. ST3 seems to scan through all of the correct folders and shows all the right libraries in the browser. But it will only Load my imported Libraries.and they are fine.I cant figure why.I authorised ST3 on this machine PRIOR to installing the Libraries.could this be the problem.
Or could it be, that whilst I I had no problem when transfering the folder to different drives within the SAME machine.it causes a problem when transferring the folder to a DIFFERENT machine. I will contact support right after this.but was desperate for an answer.we have band practice in the morning Posts: 60 Joined: Sun Nov 11, 2012 11:45 pm. I renamed the instrument cache file as suggested 'instrumentcacheold' and it did rename it.and it produced a second file called instrumentcache.so now I have two. I did the rescan but still no good. Can you tell me which of these files I should now delete.the one I just renamed is now showing with the earlier modification timestamp.the one that has the original name (simply Instrumentcache) is shown as having been created at the later time (the time of my renaming). Posts: 60 Joined: Sun Nov 11, 2012 11:45 pm. They are, I imagine, both the same size, so it probably doesn't matter. But to avoid confusion, I would close ST3, delete the new one, named instrumentcache.
Then rename instrumentcacheold back to instrumentcache. Then you are back where you started.I just tried to recreate the error- by renaming a sample file. And I got:What did yours say? (You can drag the scroll-bar (which I have recoloured in the screenshots) to read the text.
And are the listed files present in the respective sub-folders?
